We are all afoot today in an economy filled with turbulence and uncertainty. And in this uncertainty many families are drowning in fear that they previously have never met. The United States is faced with a problem that really wasn’t expected. I remember paying not too much attention on the new about reports concerning a global recession during the early 2000. Sadly, this global recession has taken its greatest toll on this country. It has taken away many comforts away from us and I have yet to see the light at the end of this tunnel. I now follow the news and daily reports on social media and on television. I pay great attention to the upcoming election. And even with this much devotion to be tuned to all the promises spewed daily by modern and traditional media, no one can be blamed at why I and most people on this country remains pessimistic.
Let me tell you a story about how I arrived at where I’m at professionally today.
There was one night when I was tucking away my kid to bed, I had a realization. As my baby sleeps on her bed, fear struck me like it never felt before. I realized that I had no financial security at all, and becoming a competent father and a good provider is everything for me. I shiver at the thought that there will come a time when I wouldn’t even be able to provide some basic necessities she needs like clothes in her back, food, education, investment for aspiration and shelter. I was in a situation that I hope no other dad would be in. Sure I had a job at the service sector, but it was a type of job where there was no security at all. No one can safely go home and say they would still have the same job next week or tomorrow even. Adults shouldn’t have to go through pains like that to earn a living.
Having said all that, I made a promise to my baby as she was sleeping there in front of me that I would do a better job of taking care of her and my family. After going through a nightmare – like situation like that; where all the the terrible things that you fear the most flashes before your eyes, suddenly a great motivation that you’ve never had before would surely arise.
After looking for as many different opportunities I can find, a friend was able to introduce me to home based jobs. I became a contractor for a company which offered search engine optimization service to other companies to attain enough website traffic to make profit on the internet. It’s a not very known world which will be unveiled to more people soon enough. There is enough demand for the type of job I’m doing that a person is able to get decent income to support a family while enjoying the presence of those he loves since the job is done at home. On this industry it is safe to say that a dad can drop most of his worries.
